BUSINESS CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
What is Dementia-Friendly?
Dementia-Friendly Partners (DFP) is a free program created by the Broyles Foundation. DFP provides online, course-based certification for caregivers and healthcare professionals. This program expands upon state guidelines for dementia care, and teaches how to provide the best possible care for those with dementia.
Why Offer Certification?
Every year, the percentage of assisted living and nursing home residents with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia increases. Becoming a DFP-certified business will help prepare your staff to provide the best possible care for your residents.
Why Offer Certification?
- DFP branding for facility/staff, including signs & job titles (‘D.F.C.’)
- Marketing potential for families with dementia caregiving needs
- Guaranteed alignment with current state guidelines
- Improved outcomes for dementia caregivers and patients
